Marina LaGrave


Marina LaGrave is a Certified Science-Legal Interpreter Translator with over 20 years of experience in Document Translation, Interpreting, Website Localization, Video/Audio Transcription, Foreign Language DTP, Language-cultural Consulting Services and Voice-Over Narration. She has the ability to interpret simultaneously with perfect knowledge of topics, jargon, vocabulary, and languages used at very high levels were knowledge, culture, and adaptability require an expert in this profession. As UCAR-NCAR Education and Outreach Chief Translator and Education and Outreach Coordinator, LaGrave manages a wide range of projects, from translating the Windows to the Universe website to conference interpretation. As such she works together with scientists, leaders and professionals in a joint effort to bring science education to all levels of education nationally and internationally. LaGrave has also worked both as an English and Spanish tutor and is Alianza Founder and Executive Director, as well as a Victims Advocate for the Boulder Police Department.
