Over 10,000 observations have been submitted during the 2007 and 2008 Star Count campaigns! Full results of the campaigns, including maps, are now available. More than 31,000 citizen scientists from 60 countries around the world have submitted their reports on the quality of their nighttime sky.
Be sure to join us next year for the International Year of Astronomy (IYA) and the third annual Star Count on October 9 - 23, 2009. Star Count will be featured as part of the Dark Skies Awareness Cornerstone Project for IYA 2009!
