This statue shows the head of Hercules also known as, Herakles, Ares, or Artagnes and was found atop mount, Nemrut Dagi (pronounced NEHM-root dah-uh) in Turkey. The site is thought to be the grave of a 1st century BC king, Antiochus I Epiphanes.
