We have put together a directory of selected Web sites that offer background information on basic concepts in solar and heliospheric physics, magnetospheric physics, and aeronomy. The directory listings are organized according to the following five topics: the ionosphere, the aurora, the magnetosphere, the Sun, and "space weather." Sites that provide information about several or all of these topics are also listed separately on a page devoted to comprehensive sites. (Of course, because solar, magnetospheric, and ionospheric phenomena are so closely interrelated, there is some overlap in content even among the sites that deal mainly with one topic.) A brief site description, along with a link to the site, is included for each listing.
