Nancy Currie

Nancy Currie is an American astronaut who was born on December 29, 1958, in Delaware. Before she became an astronaut, Currie worked as a helicopter instructor pilot for the Army.

Currie became an astronaut in 1991. She has spent over 454 hours in space on two spaceflights.

In 1993, Currie flew aboard STS-57. Currie made her second spaceflight in 1995 aboard STS-70. The crew put a satellite into space.
