Brian Duffy

Brian Duffy is an American astronaut who was born on June 20, 1953, in Massachusetts. Before he became an astronaut, Duffy was a test pilot for the Air Force.

Duffy became an astronaut in 1986. He has spent over 667 hours in space on three spaceflights.

Duffy made his first spaceflight in 1992 aboard STS-45. The crew studied the Earth and the Sun during this mission. In 1993, he flew aboard STS-57. Duffy commanded STS-72 in 1996.
