Anna Fisher

Anna Fisher is an American astronaut who was born on August 24, 1949, in New York. Before she became an astronaut, Fisher practiced medicine in Los Angeles .

Fisher became an astronaut in 1979. She has spent over 192 hours in space on one spaceflight. In 1984, Fisher flew aboard Mission 51-A. The crew captured two damaged satellites.
