Gregory Harbaugh

Gregory Harbaugh is an American astronaut who was born on April 15, 1956, in Ohio. Before he became an astronaut, Harbaugh worked as an engineer.

Harbaugh became an astronaut in 1988. He has spent over 818 hours in space on four spaceflights.

Harbaugh made his first spaceflight in 1991 aboard STS-39. This was a Department of Defense mission. In 1993, he flew aboard STS-54. Harbaugh performed a 4-hour spacewalk during this mission.

Harbaugh flew aboard STS-71 in 1995. The crew visited the Mir Space Station on this mission. Harbaugh made his last spaceflight aboard STS-82 in 1997. The crew made repairs to the Hubble Space telescope.
