Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot was a nineteenth-century French painter and printmaker. He often made landscape paintings and often those landscapes included clouds. The clouds in this painting, The Lake of Terni, look like mid-level clouds made of little puffs of white – perhaps altocumulus clouds.
