Paintings by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) are often like snapshots of real life. In this painting of Le Pont des Arts in Paris, France there appears to be two cloud types in the sky: mid-level altocumulus clouds and lower stratocumulus clouds with an elongate shape.

Beautiful Sky by Lacey, age 14, Pennsylvania
What a beautiful day with cumulus clouds. Yes, both alto and stratus sing aloud. The boats have been passing, One by one. To show that the new day has begun. "Oh", says Renoir, "Look at the sky, The cumulus clouds are so very high." "Come with thee", he said to I. "Before the moon dances to the sky." So I went to look, and what a find! Two beautiful clouds of different kinds.
