April 2000 International Space Weather and Wide Latitude Study Campaign

Special features of this campaign are the broad international cooperation involved and the complete as possible space-based and ground-based observations planned during the event. April 12-14, 2000, has been designated as a Wide Latitude Substorms Study Campaign. The current Wide Latitude Study is being run by Millstone Hill Observatory. The purpose of these campaigns is to investigate substorm activity by acquiring data from a distribution of ionospheric instruments that together provide wide coverage in latitude.
