Chemical Reactions |
You pour a blue liquid into a red liquid. After the bubbling and frothing stop the mixture becomes yellow. What happened? A chemical reaction! Not everything will react with each other. Some things just mix together like chocolate and milk. Not all reactions will bubble and froth but all chemical reactions cause a chemical change. The chemical change means that the molecules that interacted are no longer there but they have combined in a new way to form other molecules. Here are some examples of chemical reactions you may have seen before:
