William Fisher

William Fisher is an American astronaut who was born on April 1, 1946, in Texas. Before he became an astronaut, Fisher practiced medicine in his home state.

Fisher became an astronaut in 1981. He has spent over 170 hours in space on one spaceflight. In 1985, Fisher flew aboard Mission 51-I. He made two spacewalks.
