Edward Gibson

Edward Gibson is an American astronaut who was born on Novermber 8, 1936, in New York. Before he became an astronaut, Gibson an atmospheric scientist.

Edward Gibson became an astronaut in 1965. He has spent over 1996 hours in space on one spaceflight. In 1973, Gibson flew aboard the Skylab space station. The crew studied the sun and comet Kahoutek.

Gibson left NASA in 1980. He currently own his own company and has authored three books.
