Terence Henricks

Terence Henricks is an astronaut who was born on July 5, 1952, in Ohio. Before he became an astronaut, Henricks was a test pilot. He has logged over 3300 hours in 30 types of aircraft.

Henricks became an astronaut in 1985. He has spent over 1000 hours on 4 spacecraft.

Henricks made his first flight aboard STS-44 in 1991. This was a Department of Defense mission. In 1993, Henricks was the pilot of STS-55. The crew performed over 89 experiments during this mission.

Henricks commanded STS-70 in 1995. The crew deployed a satellite. In 1996, Henricks made his fourth flight commanding STS-78. This was an international mission representing 10 nations.
