Caroline Herschel

Caroline Lucretia Herschel was a German astronomer who lived between 1750-1848. Caroline moved to England so she could get a music education. She ended up working with her brother, William Herschel, doing astronomy.

She discovered three new nebulae and eight comets. She also wrote astronomy books.

Caroline Herschel lived a long time. She was 98 years old when she died.
